INGREDIENTS


  • 3 lbs fresh large mushrooms--2pcs x 24oz Sams Club
  • 1 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 1/2 cup Parmesan grated cheese
  • Extra mushrooms for stems
  • 4 sticks butter
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 2 tbspMinced dried Onion
  • 1 tbsp Onion Powder
  • 2 tbsp Kosher Salt
  • 1/2 C Milk
  • 1 1/2 C fresh basil

DIRECTIONS

 

  1. Cook chopped mushrooms and stems in 2 sticks of butter first
  2. Mix all other ingredients in except Milk and Basil.
  3. Add 1/2 of the chopped fresh basil
  4. Add milk to moisten to oatmeal like texture
  5. Place large mushroom tops face down in 2 greased 9x13 pans .
  6. Stuff with mixture where the stems were,
  7. In a pan cook 2 sticks of butter and add basil. Once butter melted mix in basil and then pour that over the tops of the stuffed mushrooms
  8. Bake for 20 minutes in the preheated 350 degrees oven, or until the mushrooms are piping hot and liquid starts to form under caps
