INGREDIENTS


  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla
  • 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 6 slices dry white bread (texas Toast)
  • Margarine, butter or cooking oil
  • Maple flavored syrup

DIRECTIONS

 

  1. In a shallow bowl beat together eggs, milk vanilla, and cinnamon
  2. Dip bread into egg mixture coating both sides
  3. In a skillet or on a griddle cook bread on both sides in a small amount of hot margarine, butter, or oil over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes on each side or till golden brown
  4. Add more margarine as needed
  5. Serve with maple flavored syrup if desired
  6. Makes 5-6 slices
