INGREDIENTS


  • 5 cups flour
  • 1 large can Libby's Solid Pack Pumpkin 29 OZ
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1 cup oil 
  • 4 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon cloves
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1 cup raisins

DIRECTIONS

 

  1. Combine pumpkin, sugar and oil in a large bowl.
  2. Mix until mixed smooth.
  3. Sift flour, salt, soda and spices.
  4. Add to pumpkin mixture and mix well.
  5. Add chopped nuts and raisins.
  6. Put into four 1 lb coffee cans. This keeps the pumpkin bread nice and moist.
  7. Fill cans half full first then top off with remaining batter.
  8. Slice and serve with butter or top off each slice with cool whip.
