INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lbs. beef stew meat, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 1 package (16 ounces) fresh baby carrots
  • 2 medium potatoes, cut into chunks
  • 2 medium onions, cut into wedges
  • 1 can diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1 celery rib, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons quick-cooking tapioca
  • a couple splashes of Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

 

  1. In a crockpot, combine all ingredients
  2. Cover and cook on high for a couple hours and low for the rest of the time for a total of 8 to 10 hours
  3. I double this recipe and serve with crusty bread
  4. I put a little more than it calls for on the meat
