- 1 lbs. beef stew meat, cut into 1 inch cubes
- 1 package (16 ounces) fresh baby carrots
- 2 medium potatoes, cut into chunks
- 2 medium onions, cut into wedges
- 1 can diced tomatoes, drained
- 1 celery rib, cut into 1/2 inch pieces
- 2 tablespoons quick-cooking tapioca
- a couple splashes of Worcestershire sauce
- salt and pepper to taste
- In a crockpot, combine all ingredients
- Cover and cook on high for a couple hours and low for the rest of the time for a total of 8 to 10 hours
- I double this recipe and serve with crusty bread
- I put a little more than it calls for on the meat
