INGREDIENTS

  • 1 bunch (about 1 pound) asparagus, ends trimmed
  • a couple of Tbsp.butter, melted
  • 1/2 cups shredded Parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a large saucepan, bring 1/2 in. of water to a boil
  2. Add asparagus; cover and boil for 3 minutes or until crisp-tender
  3. Drain
  4. Arrange asparagus in a greased 13x9-in. baking dish
  5. Drizzle with butter; sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, salt and pepper

You can also roast the asparagus instead of boiling and baking. Roast on 400 for about 15 minutes.

  1. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted
