INGREDIENTS

  • 8 Beet Roots
  • 4 Tbsp Balsamic Glaze (We use Taste of Inspirations 5.07 fl oz)
  • Tbsp  Olive Oil
  • 1tsp Kosher Salt

DIRECTIONS

 

  1. Preheat oven to 400° F
  2. Skin beets and cut into halves, then cut the halves into quarters
  3. Place beets in a round casserole dish that has a lid. The steam helps cook the beets
  4. Once beets are placed into the casserole dish sprinkle salt and olive oil over the beets and place lid on casserole dish and place in over for 25 minutes.
  5. After 25 minutes remove casserole dish and squirt about 2 Tbsp of Balsamic Glaze over the beets and place lid back and put into oven for another 30 minutes
  6. Check for tenderness after 30 minutes. If they are nice and soft remove if they are not soft enough leave for addition 15 minutes.
  7. Once the casserole dish is removed from oven remove lid and put remaining  2 Tbsp of Balsamic Glaze over the beets and serve
