INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb brussel sprouts
  • olive oil
  • salt
  • butter, melted

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 400° F
  2. Prepare brussel sprouts by cutting off stem and slicing in half
  3. Lightly grease cookie sheet and Place each on a sheet, cut side down
  4. Salt generously with sea salt
  5. Cook 30 to 45 minutes until brussel sprouts are very brown with some black
  6. If browning too quickly move rack down a level
  7. You can also flip the sprouts half way through the cooking time if you like
  8. Once color is at least brown and crunchy on the outside leaves, remove sprouts into a bowl, add melted butter and stir
  9. Add more salt if needed.  It should be salty
  10. Then serve
